Let's Talk - And Cancel #cancelculture

What's your opinion about #CancelCulture?

Let's talk.

Like, have real conversation. I mean, I know it's more difficult online, but people have been doing it. However...

I have found many people are more interested in having their point heard than having a real conversation (I'll be the first to admit, I've been guilty of this in the past). I've been unfriended and unfollowed by at least 3 people (that I know of) recently because of voicing my opinion and/or attempting to have a civil discourse about current issues.

#cancelculture is real. Let's cancel IT!

Let's talk.

Today, I'll start with a bit of what I said in a conversation that got me unfriended.

So, today, let's talk about RIOTS...

"To harass, destroy, attack and try to silence anyone who disagrees with your opinion or perspective is WRONG. Isn't that what happened to the black population after slavery was made illegal? For decades, black people and those who supported them and saw them as equally valuable human beings were harassed, had property destroyed, were attacked, and silenced. To do the same things to fight racism is misguided, and I'd even say, evil."

We can do better.

Let's LISTEN, LEARN, and LOVE.

I'm listening. What do you have to say?
